I kind of want to do an actual rated battle between Black Mesa and The Upside Down. So that would kill just about everyone, and collapse the facility ontop of the rift that was opened. Explosive weapons can kill most of the tougher Upside Down monsters, but in the end Black Mesa gets a nuke detonated iside. I don't know, maybe their skins like kevlar? Can take some small arms but not everything you can throw at it? S2 Hopper kills a lot of the baby demogorgans with an M16 and a Shotgun. S1 we see one shrug off pistol rounds, but a nail bat and fire do some damage. Upside down creatures will do really well, most of the weaker creatures like demobats will go down to gunfire, (or crowbars) demogorgans bullet proofness has been inconsistent. They also call in airstrikes on occasion. The HECU has rocket launchers and Apache helicopters. I don't know how bullet proof he is but I think grenade launchers or weapons meant to destroy tanks could take him out. Girder could take the security guards at Black Mesa, but when the HECU (US military sent to eliminate everything) and Black Ops arrive he might have trouble.

Girder can probably go toe to toe with a most monsters from the Upside down, but if he ends up in the world itself he's probably screwed, the Mind Flayer or Vecna could make short work of him, or he could end up trapped in some nasty goo.
